about Camping Krounebierg:

A nice, well run site where hospitality is important. I was cycle camping to Venice and they looked after me well even though I was not the biggest client they had. A relaxed site with well run and clean facilities. A pleasure to stay there.

about Camping Schluchsee:

Nice, well run, developed camp site. A bit expensive for this cycle camper but had all the stuff you needed. Great for families and more 'established' campers. A good supermarket just down the road and, after an initial climb, a freewheel all the way down to Switzerland. I was happy to find the place and they where happy to have me. Now would I return there? Yes I probably would. It's nice, even for us tough cycle campers, to have a little pampering. Paul

about Camping Giralda Isla Cristina:

this month unfortunatly was very windy and i had a few problems with that. i've stayed near the fence, nearby the pool and the river. at this place there isn't any wind protection so i had lots of problems with that and had to move the tent to the other side of the camping next to the road. after that i spent a very nice and peacefull week. they have security guard's at night. impressive!! although i've found the camping a little bit dirty with a few dog poo's and trash here and there but whe loved the place and whe hope to visit it next time. just cross the road and you're on the beach. loved that!! I didn't like the beach bar in front of the camping. it doesn't have toilets, the caipirinhas that we drinked were only ice and sugar (sorry, i used to be bartender and i can tell very well the difference of a good and a bad cocktail) and they had advertised live music but no one appeared to play in the whole week. that's why it was always empty. fortunatly the other bar's have live music and the town as well..i saw a few funny concert's there. the camping supermarket has all that you need to live in the camp, but if you like you can find a few supermaket's like lidl in the town. the people are very friendly and you can walk at night every where...i think...i did with my family :) there is an excelent ice-cream shop in avenida de la playa. loved the service and the ice-cream's are superb. you can also rent boat's and there is a kayak school that goes to the camping to pick up anyone who want's to do kayak or surf paddle. bad luck for me that i've found that on my last day there...
