Our camp site is situated in Kernhof, about 55km south of St. Pölten (the capital of Lower Austria) in the upper Traisental (a valley) and 20km away from the famous place of pilgrimage Mariazell. It is a camp site in … the foothills of the Alps, at the foot of "Gippel" (1669m) and "Göller" (1766m) with a fantastic view of the mountain "Gippel". Kernhof is located in the most densely wooded area of Austria; with its numerous walks and hiking paths it is the ideal holiday resort for people loving nature and looking for recreation. Tumble dryer, single washing-cubicles, day room, ski-room The "Kameltheater Kernhof" is only 400m away. It is a park with flowers and animals, an inn, guided tours, camel riding, vantage point, animals for children to caress and more. The heated outdoor swimming-pool is 5km away.
