Neckarzimmern, an dessen Ortsrand sich der Campingplatz Cimbria befindet, liegt zwischen Heidelberg und Heilbronn an der Burgenstraße. Der Ort, über welchen die Burg Hornberg, der einstige Wohnsitz des Ritters Götz von Berlichingen wacht, besitzt zahlreiche schöne Fachwerkhäuser sowie einen Wander- … und Weinlehrpfad. Bäcker, Supermarkt sowie eine Apotheke sind vom Campingplatz nur wenige Gehminute entfernt. Auf dem Platz stehen den Gästen neben einem modernen Sanitärgebäude eine Waschmaschine, ein Trockner sowie ein Geschirrspülbecken zur Verfügung. Darüber hinaus gehört zu diesem Campingplatz eine Gaststätte mit Biergarten und - aufgrund der Lage direkt am Wasser - eine eigene Slipanlage. Des Weiteren wartet das Areal mit einem Schwimmbecken, einem Spielplatz und einem Bolzplatz auf. Auch ein Basketballkorb und eine Tischtennisplatte sind vorhanden. Außerdem lädt nicht nur der Neckar zum Angeln und Bootfahren ein, 500 m entfernt befindet sich zudem eine Tennisanlage. Ebenso führen unmittelbar am Campingplatz der Neckartalradwanderweg sowie die offizielle Inlinerstrecke von Neckarzimmern vorbei.
