Nördlich von Bamberg direkt vor dem Ortseingang des mittelalterlichen Städtchens Sesslach befindet sich der Campingplatz Sonnland. Der Campingplatz bietet Stellplätze in der Sonne sowie im Halbschatten innerhalb eines lichten Waldgebietes. Hier können außerdem kleine Ferienhäuser in rustikaler Holzbauweise gemietet werden. … Möglichkeiten zum Waschen und Trocknen eigener Wäsche sind in einem zentral gelegenen Gebäude vorhanden. Der Platz selbst verfügt über eine Badelandschaft - den sogenannten Schwimmteich - mit kleinen Bachläufen und Badestegen. Außerdem gibt es auf dem Gelände eine große Grillstelle. Die vielseitige Landschaft rundherum lädt sportbegeisterte Feriengäste zum Wandern, Radfahren, Golfen und Schwimmen ein. Außerdem können kleine mittelalterliche Schlösser besichtigt oder entspannte Stunden in einer der Thermen rund um Sesslach verbracht werden. Kinder freuen sich über einen Wildpark mit Elchen, Waschbären, einem großen Trampolin und vielen weiteren Highlights im nahe gelegenen Tambach.
