Der Campingplatz liegt verkehrsgünstig an der ehemaligen Bundesstraße 210 und ist nur 15 Kilometer vom Nordseestrand entfernt. Die zentrale Lage im Herzen Frieslands macht den Campingplatz auch zum idealen Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad. Das Radwegenetz in Schortens ist … besonders gut ausgebaut. Alle Ausflugsziele lassen sich durch die hervorragende Beschilderung (Knotenpunktsystem) sehr gut mit dem Rad erreichen. Die Möglichkeit sich ein Rad vor Ort zu mieten oder gar zu kaufen existiert ebenfalls. Die Innenstädte von Schortens (0,5 km) mit hervorragenden Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Jever (3 km) mit der bekannten Brauerei, der Altstadt und dem Schloss sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Auch die maritime Großstadt Wilhelmshaven (15 km) ist mit dem Fahrrad bequem zu erreichen.
