Ásbyrgi campsite. At the entrance of the National Park by road 85. Camping, tents, caravans, toilets, showers, electric hook up, washing machine and playground. Beautiful scenery, lot of nice hikes and walking routes in the area. Vesturdalur campsite. Inside the … National Park, 13 km from Ásbyrgi. Beautiful but primitive camping, tents, toilets. Many good hiking routes in the area. Opens in beginning of June and closes in beginning of September.
